The intervention, a double valve replacement (mitral and aortic), lasted a total of 4 hours, was performed by the team composed by Prof. Fabio Miraldi, by Dr. Anthony Barrett and Prof. Giacomo Frati. The mild anesthetic management intervention, which was performed with the aid of extracorporeal circulation, as well as subsequent treatment in intensive care were conducted by Dr. Massimo Pacilli and Prof. Luigi Tritapepe, Director of the Division of Cardio-Anesthesia . Fatima is currently in good condition and has already begun a program of cardiac rehabilitation at the UOC directed by Prof. L.R. Shepherd. The young Moroccan patient arrived in Rome thanks to the grandson of Fatima who asked for help to the Spokesperson for Angels, Benedetta Paravia,  who organized the trip for the womand and assistance in Italy.
